Our point of view
Light shapes the room.
Rome & Oak began with an observation made at the end of the day: a room becomes more personal when the overhead light goes off. Corners deepen, materials become warmer and the objects you chose begin to hold the space in a different way.
We collect lighting for that moment. Our edit favours a clear silhouette, useful scale and materials that grow richer after duskādark metal, warm brass, tactile fibres, glass and timber. Each piece is considered in a real room, alongside furniture and artwork, because light only makes sense in relation to the life around it.
The result is a compact collection for building atmosphere slowly: a floor lamp that anchors a reading corner, a cordless light that brings the table closer, or a wall light that gives a picture and the room around it a quieter focus.
